This impressive Lee 577 Snider Die set requires a press with 1 1/4 – 12 threads. If you have a press with an insert, you need to remove the insert in order to use these dies as the 577 is a large cartridge.
These 577 snider dies consists of 3 different components; a Full Length Sizer, an Expander Die, and a Bullet Seating Die. The Expander Die is very useful assuming that you are going to use cast bullets in your Martini Henry. You can also optionally set up the Bullet Seating Die to add a crimp to your final load, which could be handy depending on your loading process and the condition of your cases.
You will find the full length sizing die useful if you are making 577 cases from brass shotgun shells such as Magtech 24 Gauge Brass Shells SBR24.
