Redding Case Trimming Lathe 14000

Weighing in at over 1.3 kilos, the Redding 14000 Case Trimming Lathe is a substantial piece of equipment.  The body is made of solid cast iron with the remaining parts of steel.  Built to last a very, very long time this tool has been designed with a universal chuck that holds most cartridge cases.  The chuck is locked by slipping the case holder into a slot that temporarily holds it while a new case is inserted.  This feature makes operating the Redding case trimmer quite fast.  The replaceable titanium nitride coated cutter remains stationary during the cutting process while the case is rotated.  The goal is to make the case neck parallel with case head, just as a metal working lathe does.

The Redding Case Trimming Lathe is shipped with  Six pilots – .22 cal., 6mm, 6.5mm, .270 cal., 7mm and .30.  Nylon brushes in .22 and .30 calibre are included, and can be mounted in existing holes on the front of the case trimming lathe.  Large and Small primer pocket cleaners are also included and can be mounted in the body of the case trimmer as well.

All in all, the Redding case trimmer is a well built, well designed piece of reloading equipment that will last years and years.  An optional power drive adapter is available to allow the unit to be powered by an electric drill.   The case trimmer has predrilled holes in the body to mount to a bench or piece of timber.
