Shooters Choice Firearms Grease is a modern high tech semi-synthetic all weather lubricant. Formulated to reduce friction and wear under harsh conditions. Great for all firearms and fine mechanisms where a lubricant thicker and more persistent than oil is required.
To improve smooth function In a bolt action, the product is applied in very minute volumes to areas prone to wear such as the bolt cocking cam and the area that provides leverage for primary extraction. A very small amount can be applied to the back of the locking lugs to eliminate stiffness on bolt close as well as extend the life the the action.
This grease will not ‘gum up’ in very low temperature (down to -65C) or melt in extreme heat (up to 180C).
Shooters Choice recommend removing all existing old grease before applying their product to bare metal for best results. This product is suitable for long term storage.
