The original Sierra 155 grain .308 MatchKing, developed for Palma Matches (800, 900 & 1,000 yards) was introduced in 1992.  This bullet quickly developed a reputation for accuracy at both short and long range in a wide variety of rifle barrels and chambers.

GGG Ammunition as issued at the Imperial Meeting uses the Sierra 2155 155 grain .308 MatchKing loaded to an OAL of 2.795″.  The Sierra 2155 is an ideal choice for shooters wishing to duplicate GGG characteristics with their load.

As a result of the 2155’s traditional tangential ogive shape, the bullet is quite forgiving of ‘jump’ depth.   The Sierra 2155 is a popular choice with UK shooters who want to spend more at the range and less time developing loads as well as shooters who use one load across multiple rifles.  Here is a comparison of Sierra 155’s.

Boxes of 100.  Also available in 500 count boxes here as the Sierra 2155C.

Sierra claim that the Ballistic Coefficients are .450 @ 2600 fps and above .443 between 2600 and 1800 fps .417 @ 1800 fps and below.

We highly recommend the Sierra Loading App for load data.  The Sierra App contains data for every Sierra Bullet and most modern cartridges.  It also covers a multitude of powder types.
